Health insurance coverage and policies can be tricky and confusing. FHC wishes to accomodate all of its patients’ insurance affiliations. We are providers for all of the major insurers in the state of Nebraska. Knowing Your Benefits: Who is Responsible?
Sometimes patients are surprised to find that they are billed for services they thought were covered under their health insurance policy. Every policy is different, and Family Health Care will not know what benefits are specified in your policy.

Please check with your workplace human resource manager, or with the carrier directly, to find out if certain procedures are covered. Some examples of confusing items can be outside lab diagnostics, routine checkups (frequency), or special immunizations. Family Health Care can advise you of your visit history should you need this information when checking benefits.
